First of all: we don't do China! Our clothing range is 100 % manufactured in Australia, using state-of-the-art fabrics made by the world-leading developers in UV-protective clothing. We want Littleish swimwear to meet the highest possible standards in quality, design and sun-safety. And because protecting babies and small children in and out of the water effectively from harmful UVA and UVB sun-rays is our mission, our clothing is accredited the highest Ultra Violet Protection Factor 50+ (UPF 50+: "Excellent Protection") according to the Australian/New Zealand standard AZ/NZS 4399:1996.
Our high-quality fabrics are funky, fab - and free from harmful chemicals, as we're certified under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Kids will love the softness of the material. And parents will appreciate that the special polyester blend dries quickly and is made to withstand the deteriorating effects of chlorine and salt water. If you take good care of your Littleish, it will take good care of your child (for care instructions, refer to our detailed labelling). Littleish swimwear is made to last - at least a couple of summer-seasons. Children are more likely to outgrow our outfits than to outwear them!
Available in 3 colour ways, our products are also designed to be fun in and out of the water - choose between blue/red, blue/lime and purple/yellow. And kids adore our bubbly Littleish fish-print!
From baby to toddler and beyond - Littleish swim shorts and long-sleeved swim shirts will protect children up to school age. Littleish comes in 5 sizes: for little fishes aged 6 months / 12 months and 2 / 4 / 6 years. Because they are fabulous at stretching and retaining their shape, even 8-year olds can get away wearing them, while still profiting from good UV-protection. Our matching legionnaire hats are designed to fit growing heads with no hair at all or lots of it, in S and L.
Oh, and there's something exclusively for young babies - we're excited to introduce a truly new and versatile product: our design-registered "Littleish Wrap". Stylish and bright, it is featuring unique corner ties. Use it as a wrap/blanket to protect the baby in and out of the water. And be creative and tie it up wherever maximum sun-protection is needed - in the car, over the pushchair, between 2 trees... Measuring 80 cm x 80 cm and made out of the same lightweight material as our swim outfits, it's easily foldable, portable, practical - and fabulous looking. A great multifunctional asset for Moms and Dads. And it has been shortlisted for the Innovation Award 2007 at the Kind+Jugend Fair in Cologne in September 2007 (and, oh boy, are we excited about that, too!).
